To the Luke and Young Family,

"For me it good to be near God;
I have made the Lord God my refuge." - Psalm 73:28

I just heard about Judy's passing. The village won't be the same without her. She and I attend Pearl Lee Smith as little girls, she always made us laugh. I can still see her walking carrying her pocket-book. She never met a stranger, may God forever blessed her.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.”-John 11:25-26

Mecca and Family,

I am sorry to hear of your lost and no amount of words can express what I feel for you or provide comfort for what you are feeling. Know that as time progresses you don't forget but it becomes a little easier. Lean on God and his word and you will be able to deal with all that is being placed before you.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding.-
Proverbs3:5
