My friend Wayne Battle was a great individual. Friend, business dealings, serving together on a board-the same soft spoken Wayne was there.
When he spoke I could not help but notice everyone stopped and listened. I am aware that we all will be forgotten over time. Wayne is no different. But we can all be consoled that his memory will be remembered by his children, grand
children and on and on for years. Deserved.

March 18, 2015

We'll sure miss you, Wayne. You were one of the finest men in the lumber business. Bless you,
Charles Simmons
