My wife Betty and I joined first Baptist Church about six years ago and had the pleasure of having Ken and Lawanna as our dear friends in the Friendship Class. Ken and I hit it off real well as we both grew up with a similar young background taking care of livestock and other chores that were were required as both of us were going through those lean years of the late 20's and earlier 30's. His experiences far exceeded anything that occured in my life and career.He was a real hero of WWII and his book is a real treasure for me. He will be sorely missed by us and all those in our class and Church.

Dear Family
Ken was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I worked with him in the insurance industry. He will truly be missed.
