Anne Webb Obituary

Anne P. (McConville) Webb, of Duxbury formerly of Plymouth, died Jan. 13, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late B. Joseph Webb. Loving mother of Annemarie Nocher and her husband Bob of Plymouth, Jack and his wife Helen of Milton, Frank and his wife Peggy of TX, Wayne of PA., Mark of TX, and the late Gary Webb. Sister of the late Marion Grant, Matthew McConville and Francis McConville. Longtime friend of Doris Valante of Braintree. Also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Foy) McConville. She was educated in South Boston, raised her family principally in Quincy, and lived most recently in Duxbury. She loved knitting, cooking, entertaining and was an avid reader. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St., Plymouth on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Peters Church, Plymouth at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours on Monday, Jan. 17 from 4-7 p.m. Burial in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
