Pastor Leola Jackson Williams - SAVANNAH - Pastor Leola Jackson Williams entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at her residence in Garden City, GA surrounded by her loving family with the assistance of Compassionate Care Hospice. She was a native of Barnwell, SC and lived in Savannah, GA for many years. She was formerly employed as a CNA at Azalealand Nursing Home and the Savannah Chatham Board of Education at Robert W. Groves High School Cafeteria. She was the founder and Pastor of Mt. Zion Greater Faith Apostolic Church of the P.A.W. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Paul Williams, two sons, Frank Williams and William Kimble, her parents, seven brothers, and two sisters. Survivors: daughter, Josephine (John) Gibbons of Dearborn, MI, ten grandchildren including Rosalyn Humes (Lemuel) Rouse, who was a devoted caregiver of Savannah, GA, and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews including Jacqueline D. Robinson of North Charleston, SC who was also a devoted care giver, cousins other relatives and friends. Night of Reflections: Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Mt. Zion Greater Faith Apostolic Church of the PAW, 1629 Chester St. @ Alexander St., Savannah, GA.
