I grew up with Mable in Tatemville. I left in 1970 with my husband who was in the military. When I would return for visits Mable and Billy Boy were always glad to see me and I was glad to see them. My fondest memories of Mable are when she and I played on the Tatemville softball team and would travel to Sandfly, West Savannah, Tremont Park, Cloverdale,etc. Our mode of transportation was sitting in the back of a pick up truck. She was our best player. I will miss coming to Tatemville and not seeing her sitting on the porch or in the yard. I talked with her in the yard on my last visit home. May God bless and keep each of you and know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

My heart never felt so much pain
The sky came together and dropped lots of rain
I thought my life was coming to an end
All I know is I will never give in
You were the reason I became who I am
You hold my life in the palm of your hand
You showed me right from wrong
But the day you died everything went wrong
You knew me oh so well
The day you died my heart fell
I will never forget you until I die
Maybe someday we will meet up in the sky
I know the lord took you cause it was time
But he should of let me say the right goodbye
I think of you from day to day

My deepest sympathies goes to the family and friends... Mrs. Mable was a sweet person and always gave you a reason to laugh no matter how your day was going... It was never a dull moment whenever Mrs. Mable was around.. But she will be missed by so many...

I cared about you so deeply, when you left my life it was not the same. I smile when I cry because of the memories we shared. I just know one day that I will see you again. Your smile isn't like most smiles it brighten up my day. You where a person that I can tell. Everything good or bad. Ever single day I think about you.
