Marion Sisk Obituary

Brunswick - Marion R. Sisk, 78, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Sisk was a native of Salem, TN. and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1943. He was retired from Hercules, Inc after 29 years of services. He was owner and operator of the Brunswick Plumbing Co. for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the South Pacific. He was active Navy reserve from 1944 to 1946 and had 40 years of Inactive reserve. He was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church and was a member of the V.F.W., Fleet Reserve Retired, Hercules Club 25, and a mason in Ocean Lodge #214 F. & A.M. Survivors include two daughters, Anne Sisk Slaughter of Brunswick and Marsha Sisk Zeagler of Guyton, GA; a son, Marion G. Sisk of Fayetteville, GA; eight grandchildren, Lynn Reynolds of Cartersville, GA., Brian Simpson of Conyers, GA., Shantelle Wood of Jacksonville, FL, lance Slaughter of Brunswick, GA., Peyton Zeagler of Guyton, GA., Hailey Sisk of Conye rs, GA., Garrett Sisk of Gainesville, GA., and Ashley Sisk of Valdosta, GA., eight great -grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Brunswick Memorial Park with Full Military honors. Rev. Ed Hurst officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of VFW Local Chapter, Fleet Reserve Branch 30 and members of Hercules club 25.
