I just learned of Max's passing today. I worked with him for many years at RVCC as a staff member he treated me with respect, affection and always with his sense of humor (I can hear his laugh!). It was a pleasure to serve under him. He was so kind and eagerly agreed to be a reference on my resume after I left the college. Rest in peace dear Max.

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

Max and I first met while employed by Allied Chemical Corporation, now Honeywell, in Morristown, NJ. We have stayed in touch over years and while he was with Raritan Valley Community College, where he made significant contributions to students and the institution. Max was a delight to be around and his remarks and perspectives were on point and always made in a manner that would produces smiles even during tough times. Max is a unique and good man and friend who will be remembered and admired for his achievements and support to others during tough times. Max will be missed.

I remember Maxwell and his brother, JT, as we were small children in Sunday school at St.Stephens Episcopal Church on Habersham Street in Savannah. It has been years since I've seen him but frequently heard about him through mutual friends. My condolences to the family. I'm sure he will be missed.
