Nita Morris Obituary

Nita Boykin Morris 81, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the Hospice House in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Mrs. Morris was a resident of Forest City North Carolina, formerly of Savannah. She was a native of Screven County and the daughter of the late Albert Wesley Boykin and Essie Lillian Daly Boykin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple; retired sales associate with Belk's Department Store and volunteered for many years in the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Candler Hospital. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Morris in 1997. Survivors include two sons, Cleon Albert Morris of Glen Bernie, MD, Charles Joseph Morris Jr., of Marysville, WA, daughter, Sandra Morris Fox of Forest City NC, a brother, Gilbert Wesley Boykin of Guyton, two sisters, Miriam Virginia Boykin Lee of Savannah, Walton Henrietta Schberle of Evansville IN, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 24, 2005 from 6 p. m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel. Graveside Services will be Friday, February 25, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Clark officiating. Remembrances to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. I just wanted to say that Grandma was a wonderful person. She definitely could make things interesting. We all loved her and will miss her very much.
