Odessa Durden Hall

Mrs. Odessa Durden Hall - Swainsboro -Mrs. Odessa Durden Hall, 94, resident of Swainsboro, died this morning in The Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home. Mrs. Hall, born in Emanuel County had lived here all her life. She retired in 1978 from The Emanuel County School system where she worked in the lunch room and was a member of the Swainsboro First Baptist Church. She was the lasts survivor of 10 children. She is survived by a son, Hollis (Emily) Hall of Dublin GA; daughter, Dorla (Seab) Clark of Swainsboro, GA; five grandchildren, Angela Kettles, Aaron Clark and Amanda Story all of Swainsboro, GA, Phyllis Hall of Elberton, GA and Johnny Hall of Cumming, GA, six great -grandchildren and one great -great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hall, Casey Clark, Scott Hall, Shane Hall, and Lincoln Kettles.
