Pamela Gail Newman Gordy - SPRINGFIELD - Pamela Gail Newman Gordy, 53, passed away, June 12, 2015. Mrs. Gordy was born in Augusta, Ga., but lived in Springfield for a number of years, she was a substitute teacher and a member of Tusculum Christian Church. Survivor include her daughter; Morgan Gordy of Springfield) three brothers, Charles Newman of Savannah, Mickey Newman of Summerville, S.C., and Sammy Newman of Augusta, one sister, Mary Ann Copeland of Buffalo, NY, and a number of nieces & nephews. Visitation Tuesday 6/16/2015 from 1011 a.m. at the funeral home, funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment Guyton cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made towards funeral expenses.
