I am so sorry for your loss! Tricia was so precious. I have wonderful memories of us doing "Hot Dog Day" together at school. Many times we were up to our elbows in soap suds. It was fun because of being there with her. She was a spiritual blessing as we shared our faith. God bless you as you release her to The Lord. Terry Moore

Bucky,Lisa and Jody, my heart was saddened when I heard of Tricia's passing. She was such a blessing to me during my time at Ferguson and I know that she will be missed greatly. I know the days ahead will not be easy and you will be in our prayers as you begin this new chapter of life without her. I know you find comfort in knowing that she is resting with her savior and no longer suffering. Thinking of you in Romania, Brenda & Achim Barbos.

Bucky, Jody, Lisa and Family,
So sorry to hear about Tricia. The last time I saw her was at Burger King with her grandkids. When I think of Tricia, she always has a smile. She was always kind to me and I was in one of her Bible study classes many moons ago. She is missed. When I heard of her passing, I thought Well, God wanted his Angel Back Home! Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. May His Love and Peace the surpasses understanding be with you now and always.

Dear Bucky, Jody, Lisa and family. It was with much sorrow to read about Thrish's passing this morning. She was such a gracious lady and we always enjoyed having met her and the rest of the family. We have fond memories of some of the road trips with Memorial Day School. Words can't express our sympathy for your loss. Her impact on the folks that knew her was shown by the long lines to pay their respect tonight. We made two attempts, but had to leave. May God bless all of your family and our thoughts are with you. Dear Family,
I met Tricia many years ago when I went to my first Precepts study and she was the Leader. I learned so much from her and went on to start Precepts at my own church. I have since moved away but I am still in Precept Classes. I received word this morning just before class of Tricia's homegoing. We had special prayer for you all and thanked the Lord for Tricia and the blessing she was to me and to countless others through the years as she pointed us all to Jesus and the Word of God. What a legacy. Now she is face to face with her dear Savior. Thanks be to God!

The Blessing of Tricia Lanier
The moment I met her, I felt her tug-this simple, gracious, beautiful soul whose gentle eyes conveyed how deep her well was. Such a joy to her family-such an example to us all of kindness, strength, wisdom and Christian humility. Tricia was the magnet that brought her families together; the inspiration of countless others- this tiny woman whose life was so big and who meant so much to so many. Mother to the motherless and friend to all.
I truly love both of her wonderful daughters- her own Lisa, and her daughter-in-law, Kim, but whereever Tricia was present, I would find myself gravitating to her. Just being in her presence was a blessing- the embodiment of human kindness that she spread so effortlessly. So full of love, it was easy to see that she belonged to the Lord, and to her family, and to her church. What a void she leaves here. She was surely specially made.
I grieve for Bucky, for Jody and Kim, and Lisa and Jay whose hearts are broken for they knew best what a treasure they had in her. I grieve for her grandchildren, who knew that unconditional love and comfort could always be found in her arms. I grieve for all of us who knew her because she was a gift. But also, I rejoice for Tricia that she has achieved her ultimate goal, to live forever in the comfort of Christ.
Tricia reminded me so much of my own sweet mother who has been gone so long, that my heart is breaking again. But, truly I know that the legacy of such a godly woman never fails; rather, what they plant in our hearts continues to grow- to motivate, instruct, and nurture...always and forever.
I love you, Tricia Lanier. I will miss you. Not goodbye, but until we meet again, resting at the Father's feet.
Tricia Stacy
Proverbs 31:10-31. "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and her praises her.
Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is the be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."

Bucky, Lisa, Jody, and Family of Tricia,
I can't begin to know the profound sense of loss you are feeling right now, but at the same time know you are finding strength and comfort in God's grace and also in absolutely knowing that she is with Him. Tricia was one of the most, if not THE most kind, joyful, loving, and truly genuine people I have known. She never left you without a quick hug, smile, and "I love you" after encouraging you in some way. She will always be remembered as one of the most special women I have been privileged to meet. She has truly been loved by many.

Bucky, Jody, Lisa and family, I am deeply sadden to hear of Tricia's passing. I knew she was ill and suffering. The last time I saw Tricia was a few years ago at New Ebenezer Family Retreat Center. And she was as kind, gentle and beautiful as she has always been. Tricia and Linda Blue were true christian women role models in my life. Tricia taught Percepts upon Precepts at Ferguson Ave. Baptist Church and I was one of her students. Through Tricia and Precepts I learned to take God's Word apart and I am now teaching Women's Bible studies at my church in Guyton, where my husband is the Pastor at Guyton Christian Church. My love and prayers go out to Bucky, Jody, Lisa and their families. May God bless you all with His strength to endure the journey set before you. Love, Kay (Lanier) Grandgeorge

Tricia was an amazing person and Christ's light shined from her brightly. She was so kind, always had an encouraging word for all who needed one, and had the unshakable peace that can only come from walking hand in hand with Christ each day. I only knew her for three years but she had a dramatic impact on me with her loving, kind mentoring of me as a new Christian. We all already miss her very much but peace comes from knowing she is with our Lord now and knowing we will one day see her again. Praying for Lisa and Jay and their children as well as Bucky and all of the family I don't know.....for God's strength. We all are so blessed to have known and loved her.
