I was truly shocked to learn of Patrick's death. I had just communicated with him around the end of February to see if he was attending the veterinary school reunion in Athens in late March this year. I was attending and he told me he was too. I looked forward to catching up with him. When I got to Athens this past Friday, I heard the sad news.
I was Patrick's first employer as a veterinarian when he first graduated, up here in Maryland.
He worked for us one year, and although we were sorry to see him go, we knew he was destined for great things in the profession, back in his home area.
He made an impact on many people and their treasured pets. I know he will be missed.

We are shocked by the loss of Dr. Bremer. We had our dog Max groomed at the Bark Shack yesterday and mentioned to Karen how much we liked our new Vet. She then informed us of his passing. Bluffton has lost a caring and skilled doctor. Our initial meeting was remarkable- Max received a very thorough exam and Dr. Bremer provided such sound advice we just knew we had found a perfect Vet.
I can only imagine the positive impact he had on the animals/owners in our community over the years he has practiced here. We were blessed to have met him and offer our condolences to the family.

To the Bremer family. I wanted to extent my condolences to Dr Bremer's family. We were new clients since early Feb and saw our beloved Shih Tzu Bosco, two times prior to having to come out at 9pm at night on Feb 22 to put him to sleep after 16 yrs.I was impressed with his wisdom and compassion and we and our animals have truly lost a friend. I suspect he will reunite with many of patients at "Rainbow Bridge" They say that God often takes the good ones first. Bob & Renee Lee

Mrs. Bremer and family,
I just received word from my brother Bernard Doyle about Patrick's passing. I am shocked and so saddened for all of you. I have such wonderful childhood memories of the Doyles and Bremers hanging out together. In fact, just a few months ago we Doyles got together to watch all the home movies dad took and there were the Bremers at the house on 64th street.
I am so glad Patrick became the Vet I always wanted to be. I too had a love and still do of all animals. Patrick I know your at Rainbow Bridge greeting all the fury families you cared for.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Bremer and Family:
I am sorry for your loss. Your family has been wonderful to ours. We would bring our young black lab to Dr. Bremer (Pat) and he would give me advice on how to train him. Then he would laugh and state - well he has Sheehan in him do you think he is going to behave. You all have always been great to our family. I am so sorry for you pain of Pat's early entry into heaven. God has a better plan for him. You all will always have a wonderful place in our hearts. God Bless You All.

My deepest sympathies for the entire Bremer family and especially his daughter Emily. Dr. B was absolutely a wonderful veterinarian and person to know. I have so many memories of him as an employer teaching me to be the best I could be. I feel truly honored and blessed to have known and worked with him. I will always remember the last time I was able to visit with him and let him meet my daughter. He is going to be missed by many!

Dr. Bremer was my avian Vet 15 years ago. I learned a great deal from him and we became friends as he understood and shared my love of all animals. I drove from SC to his Savannah clinic because I learned he was the best Vet in the two states to take your parrot. I hated the call I received telling me of his passing. To his daughter, mother and family he was awesome. I feel blessed to have the memories of knowing him for that brief period of my life when he was growing his practice. Dr. Bremer was one of those people that find a spot in your heart and when you think of them you smile.
I am sure he had no idea of the number of lives he blessed. The person that called me remembered after all these years how much I admired Dr. Bremer. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time of great loss.

Oh, Carolyn ~ I canNOT imagine the pain. Thank you for calling me. I'm here for you now and always, my dear, dear friend.
My love to ALL, Joseph and John and Bill III and Julia.
After doing a 'rescue' for Faye & me, in my mind's eye, right now, I can see Patrick, sitting on the side of his boat with his feet dangling in the water, looking up at us and saying, "And now it's Miller time".
I will see each of you soon.

Dr. Bremer was the kindest, most caring veterinarian and a wonderful person. I will never forget the house calls he made to care for my Bubba in his declining years. It was a great loss for the animal community when he retired. He was a good person and will be greatly missed.

He is resting in heaven with our "Biscuit" & Kitties. We were so grateful for Dr. B. He took such wonderful care of our "Biscuit" and our many kitties. He was Biscuit's best friend, she had so many visits in her lifetime and he ALWAYS showed compassion and concern for all of our "furry" children. He will be truly miss, but he can now take care of "everyone's furry little children" up in heaven. Thank you for being a part of our life. Angie & Bobby Chu

I have lost touch with most of my vet school classmates but it is very sad to hear of the passing of any of them. I remember Patrick as being a bright go getter. As a class we were a small enough group to know each other at least a little. He was far too young to leave this world. My condolences to his family, friends and patients.

Dr. Bremer was the most caring and loving vet that I could have ever imagined having for all of my animals. When he left Savannah it took us years to find another one with as much compassion as he always showed. He truly loved animals. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. I know he will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened for Patrick's family over their loss. As a veterianary college classmate of Patrick's, I can say those 4 years would not have been the same without the presence of Patrick. He was a unique and special human being. I always enjoyed and looked forward to those rare times when Patrick and I would cross paths at continuing education conventions and we would share a meal and catch up. He will be greatly missed and my prayers go out to the Bremer family.
