Paul A. Feldmann - Savannah -Paul Adrian Feldmann died on December 17, 2006 at Marsh View in Savannah, Georgia. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1924 and grew up there as a young man. During World War II, at seventeen years old, he entered into the U.S. Army's 26th Infantry Division as an Artilleryman. He entered Europe over the beaches at Normandy, participated in the Battle of the Bulge, crossed the River Rhine with Patton's Third Army and took place in the liberation of a Nazi Concentration Camp in Austria. He retired from Savannah Electric and Power after nearly four decades of employment. Paul was appointed a Kentucky Colonel for his upstanding, generous and continuous service to our nation. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Commander's Club. Paul Feldmann will be most remembered for his patriotism, his never ending wit and his uncanny ability to light up a room. His life was gentle; and the elements
So mix'd in him that nature might stand up
And say to all the world,
"This was a man!"

ON BEHALF OF MY FATHER,THE LATE M/SGT. CHARLES A.HARPER,USAF I WISH TO SALUTE THE LIFE AND SERVICE OF MR. FELDMANN. MY FATHER PARTICIPATED IN THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE AND FOUGHT ON THE BEACHES OF NORMANDY. HE ALSO SERVED WITH GREAT PRIDE UNDER GENERAL PATTON. AFTER READING MR. FELDMANN'S OBITUARY I REALIZED THEY WERE "BROTHERS IN ARMS",WONDERFULLY BRAVE MEN WHOSE PATRIOTISM AND SACRIFICE ASSURED OUR FREEDOM AND SAFETY. I KNOW THEY ARE ENJOYING A GREAT REWARD IN HEAVEN.
