Bobby and I grew up in the same neighborhood; he lived on the corner of Anderson and 31st street and I lived on 33rd street. We went to a prom together probably in junior high. Sorry I missed the memorial service. My condolences to his family.

Bobby was a friend in High School. He was Team Captain of the Football Team. He was Junior and Senior Class President. During our Senior year, fellow members of the football team each voted to give the Sportmanship Award. Bobby and I tied. Bobby said that he had voted for me, and I had voted for Bobby. Coach Spear told me that Bobby wanted me to have it. That was the kind of guy Bobby was. My sympathy to Bobby's family and friends.

I haven't seen Bobby since SHS where he was an A-student, superb fullback, and the 1962 senior class president. He was a loyal and trusted friend to many and never spoke ill of anyone. Rest peacefully Bobby.

My sympathy to Bobby's family. As a boy and as a man, Bobby could always be counted on to do what he said he would do. A great guy!
