As one of Danielle's best friends, I spent quite a bit of my teenage years over at their house. It got to be that I'd call her parents "Mommy and Daddy Two." I remember camping at the lake. They unknowingly influenced my purchase of a pop-up as an adult. They tried (yes I say tried) to teach me to ski as I swallowed more of Lake Hartwell than I care to admit. It's no wonder they purchased land up there since they loved it so much. The Bob Thornton I picture in my mind is a man with a bright light in his eyes, which often came out in his sense of humor. He always had a "where's the next adventure?" spirit about him. Although I didn't see him as much once I became an adult, I still considered him "Daddy Two."
Daddy Two, say hi to Daddy One for me.

So sorry for you loss Deborah, Bob, Danielle, Shane and girls. So many memories of great times when we got together. Such a beautiful life Robert shared with all he knew.
Will always cherish the pictures he drew of the barn he gave us last time we were together. Love and prayers to all.

Robert will always be remembered fondly by the Friday Night Friends. He was a good husband, a good father and a good friend to all that knew him. He loved music and Mexican food. Robert, you will be missed.

I'll always remember Uncle Robert as being positive and upbeat, with many talents and interests. Water skiing and pontoon boating on Lake Hartwell were lots of fun!

As kids growing up, I enjoyed visiting Robert Wayne, Tommy, & Charles. Robert Wayne always wore a big smile. My siblings & I loved listening to him play the guitar.
With Deepest Sympathy.
Praying for you,
