I attended Emmanuel Methodist Church in Madras from time to time when I was a student at Madras Christian College. Sam also visited our home in New Delhi and sang.on our front lawn when we requested him to sing. A great man of God.

I will Never forget Rev. Dr. Kamaleson. I attended Indian Christian retreats led by him annually in Ohio. His sermons and unique thoughts and phrases are still with me. The man was a Scholar and a Gentleman who Loved the Lord Jesus. He is missed, but I will meet him again in the Kingdom ! Praise God for raising up His Kingdom Servants !

What a full, wonderful life. God bless the family with peace and comfort. My own father knew and respected "Dr. Sam" from Dad's time on a mission trip to Bethel. The Chapel has a plaque with the name Clarence Cosey because it was always in his heart.

Rest in Peace Dr. Sam - You can now sing directly to the Absolute Lord of Lords.
Of all of my memories, one of my favorites was a story that Dr. Sam shared in a WV Chapel. He was in a Non-Christian country and they would not allow him to preach. So Dr. Sam asked if he could sing and the government agreed. So - he sang his message and shared his wonderful deep soulful voice with all those who attended. The Lord used his gift to share the Word with everyone there. God always works everything for good for those who are called according to His purpose.
May the Lord cover the family in His love, grace and mercy. Peace be to Mark, Sara, Ruth, Doug, Nicole and all the grandchildren.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Rev. Kamaleson at The Sanctuary of Savannah when I served as Minister of Music. I was impressed with the manner in which he delivered the Word of God. He was an anointed preacher and it was evident that his relationship with the Lord was real. My prayers are with Dr. Kamaleson and the family.

In January of 1973, I traveled with JT Seamands and a group of students from ATS to India. In Madras, we were hosted by Sam and his lovely wife. I was so impressed by this man who loved the Lord so much. My life was changed on that trip. I praise God for men like Sam, who we such an example to others. What a ministry!

I first heard Rev. Dr. Sam Kamaleson speak in Malaysia in 1966 at a students gathering. His message greatly inspired me. I praise God Almighty for this great man of God.

To the loved ones: As you celebrate a life worthy to be emulated, may God's comfort be yours.
I was not a new comer to the Christian faith, being raised in the Church of England and educated in the Wesleyan tradition. However, I have a distinct memory as a youngster in a beautiful, large Methodist Church. It seemed as if the church itself was rocking on its foundation as a handsome, young guest preacher blessed with a magnificent, booming voice began singing "How Great Thou Art." His sense of deep conviction and anointing brought an unmistakable awakening in my spirit. That was my initial encounter with the Savior. Years later, I was further nourished in the faith as I moved into the Emmanuel Methodist Church neighborhood, as a foreign student.
Today as I reflect on my own dedication to our Lord Jesus Christ, I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Sam Kamaleson who had a long - standing impact on my life. To God be the glory!
