Stephen Ankerson Obituary

Stephen Lee Ankerson - SAVANNAH - Stephen Lee Ankerson, 53, died Sunday January 25, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Ankerson was born in Atlanta and lived in the midwest before moving to Savannah 25 years ago. He was the owner of Savannah Clutch and Industrial Brake. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nicole Ankerson, of Savannah; his mother, Patricia Ankerson, of Orlando, Florida; his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Jill Ankerson, of Orlando; his sister, Jan Ankerson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his nephew Collin Ankerson, of Orlando. Stephen's integrity, humor and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Nikki I don't know what to say really ... what a great guy Steve was. You guys were among the first people we met when we got to savannah. I will never forget how Steve provided work for the kids to help keep them occupied. You were both a huge inspiration to myself and Lizz.
