I recently found out from a childhood neighboor that Steve passed away. My thoughts go out to you Michele. I see that you lost Steve, your Mom and Dad in a very short period of time. I have many memories with Steve. Riding bikes, fishing, throwing a softball, getting in to trouble by driving Mr. and Mrs. Kauders brown Ford station wagon when we were only 14 years old and without a license!! We had ALOT of laughs and I remember always being jealous of Steve beause he was so good at everything! Bowling, softball, getting good grades in hard classes like "American Life"! I'll never forget his yellow Schwinn Varsity 10 speed! Here I am 51 years old and have NEVER met someone even close to being like Steve! He was one of kind and my memories of him will be with me until I am no longer on this earth! Rest in peace Steve!

I AM TRUELY SORRY THAT I NEVER HAD THE APPORTUNITY TO MEET STEVE. I CAN SAY THAT I AM GOOD FRIEND WITH HIS SISTER MICHELLE AND HER FAMILY.I KNOW 1ST HAND HOW DEVASTATED THEY ARE WITH THE SUDDEN PASSING OF STEVE AND I ALSO KNOW THEY WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM AS MANY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE. YOU ALL WOULD GIVE THEM A WONDERFUL GIFT OF HIS LIFE IN GEORGIA. IF STEVE WAS AS CARING AND GIVING FRIEND AS MICHELLE AND HER FAMILY ARE YOU TRUELY LOST A GREAT FRIEND. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL WHO MADE HIM HAPPY. HE LIVED A VERY FULL LIFE HIS WAY. BLESS HIS HEART.

It was truly wonderful seeing Steve in August. We talked for hours and quickly renewed old friendships. We were all looking forward to getting together again.

Steve was truly a great person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Steve and I went to college together. Over the last two years, Steve and a number of us from college had gotten back in touch. Steve met with a few of us this August for dinner. I had just talked to him the week prior to his death about his trip to Gatlinburg and was going to get him info on diving with sharks. To say that his death came as a shock is an understatement. Steve was such a wonderful person. He spoke often about his parents, sister and a special nephew. He was a good friend and he will be truely missed.
