Thomas Clifford Obituary

Thomas F. Clifford - SAVANNAH - Thomas F. Clifford, age 66, passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Hospice, Savannah, GA. He was born January 30, 1946, in Oak Park, IL to the late Earl and Catherine Clifford. After graduating from Wauconda High School he served our country proudly in Vietnam with the Army's 1st Calvary Infantry division for two years. Survivors include his loving wife Linda of 15 years; his son, Thomas (Mary) Clifford, Salem WI, daughters, Theresa (Eddie) Jahneke, Salem, WI, and Kristen Clifford, Antioch, IL, two-stepdaughters Sharon (Hal) Ditzig, Salem, WI, and Carmen Perry, Springfield, IL, three grandchildren, Tessa, Eddy, Jessie Jahneke, and two step grandchildren, Kurtis & Ethan Perry. One sister, Mary Gilbert, Rockford IL, and two brothers, Robert (Cindy) Clifford, Riverhead, NY, and Danny Clifford, Rockford, IL along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Gilbert, Round Lake Beach, IL, and a brother, Earl Clifford of Hayward, WI. A Celebration of Tom's life with Military Honors will be held 5PM Monday June 11, 2012, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation from 1PM until 6PM.
