An old band mate called today to let me know about this.
It shocks you to know that someone with Davids energy and spirit could truely be gone.
David was more than a fellow band member or a fellow Gulfstreamer, even more than "someone that I use to know"...David was a friend of mine.
We spent many, many nights on the road playing together, and many more practicing to play. David was never without that stupid grin, or a quick joke as he passed you at work, or greeted you in the band room.
I know that his children were truely loved by him, and that his friends, were truely...friends.
His like, we are not often privelidged to know.
I am sure that he has a new Strat, or Gibson Les Paul and is actively attempting to blow the windows out of heaven.
I will miss him greatly.

David was a good friend for almost 10 years. We worked at Gulfstream and played music in the "Gary Apple Band" together. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out with heartfelt sympathy to his family. The memory of times we spent with him will live on.
Sincerely,
The Ramsey Family, Ann & Allen
