William Baggett Obituary

William Bill Baggett - MULLINS, SC - William Bill Baggett, 72, went to his Heavenly home to join his deceased wife, Judy on Monday, April 2, 2012. He was born in Florence County, a son of the late Ben Wordell and Bernice Turner Baggett. Bill was a friend to everyone who knew him, and always greeted you with a smile. He was predeceased in addition to his parents by his wife, Judy Baggett and two brothers, Legette Buddy Baggett and Ronnie Jarrett Baggett. He is survived by two daughters, Tamara TJ Baggett and her lifetime companion, Laurie Belshan of Savannah, Georgia and Sharon Baggett of Boston, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Harmony and Bethany Baggett; two grandsons, Maddox and Carter Stephens; and two sisters, Carolyn Baggett Grimsley of Florence and Ola Mae Baggett Whitfield of Tallahassee, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2012 in the chapel of Meares Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Red Hill Memorial Gardens in Mullins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Every Step Counts, a non-profit organization that teaches cancer patients to fight back, 27 East 50th Street, Savannah, Georgia 31405. I just heard about Bill and wanted to say how sorry I am for the family's lost. Bill was a great friend who always smiled and said hey Hun how u doing as he gave u a hugg. Always listen to yr problems and helped u anyway he could. That's how I'll always remember my friend Bill.
