William Burnsed Obituary

William Wade Burnsed - STATESBORO - William Wade Burnsed, 76, of Statesboro, and formerly of Savannah, died Monday at his residence in Statesboro under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born in Bryan County, Ga., and was a member of Central Junction Baptist Church in Garden City, Ga. He was the retired owner/operator of Burnsed Trucking Company for 29 years, Wade Burnsed Tire Service, and was also retired from Union Camp Corporation after 21 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Deloris Deal Burnsed, of Statesboro, Ga; 4 daughters, Sharon B. Jenkins,(Carroll), Statesboro, Ga; Brenda B. Fields, (the late Jimmy Fields) of Pooler, Ga; Patricia B. Ellrod, (Joey) of Statesboro, Ga; and Wadelle B. Dewitt, (Roy) of Bloomingdale, Ga; 2 brothers, Clem & Floyd Burnsed; 5 sisters, Alvarine Beasley, Vera Stone, Joyce Wright, Mildred Edwards, and June Scarce; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenny Harrelson, officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
