Great guy and a great coach. Worked with him during some summers in early 60's. Always positive and always looking for the best in everyone. Thanks for the inspiration, coach.

I extend deepest sympathy to Patricia and family in our great loss. Coach was a super guy and taught me to control my temper by setting me on the bench. He truly was a hugh part of our lives and we are better adults for having known him.

Our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Dobbins and the children and extended family of Coach Dobbins. He was a great guy and touched many of us. Who can ever replace him and brew such rich-smelling coffee in the gym! And Coach, I'm really sorry I blew that throw to first in the Vidalia game in 1963.

I played basketball and baseball for Coach Dobbins 1959-1962. He was always intense, always pushing for the better athlete he knew was inside you, but always a super person. Deepest sympathies to the family.

I'm sorry that we were unable to be with you today, but our thoughts were certainly with you. I've always thought alot of Mr. Dobbins. He was my principal in the late 70's. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
