Arden Davis Obituary

ARDEN W. (BUD) DAVIS passed away on January 19, 2006. He was born August 14, 1918, in Butte, Montana, to William and Edith Davis. He attended schools in California, Ore gon, Washington and Montana. He received a permanent appt. with the Forest Service in Glacier Park, MT. before moving back to CA in 1936. He served in the Army 1942 to 1946 and was a Staff Sgt. in the Medics at Hammond General Hospital in Modesto, CA and Ballentine, MT. He was a meatcutter for 43 years, he was co-owner of Kolb & Davis Meat Mkt. in Rialto from 1958 to 1969 and retired from Fedco meat dept. in 1981. He was a member of the 1st Congregational Church of Rialto. He belonged to the Death Valley 4 9ers and attended their annual celebration for over 20 years. Bud's hobbies were photography, ancient indian history, and traveling. He enjoyed seeing America with his wife, Mary, and they traveled full time in their motorhome for almost 18 years, making many friends. Preceded in death by wife, Mary of 33 years. Survivors include step-daughter, Beverly Kay Ogle and husband, Paul of Santa Clarita; grandchildren, Lori Noel and husband, Mark, Randy Ogle and wife, Susan; 3 great-grandchildren, Ashley and Matth ew Noel and Miranda Ogle. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 10:00am-12:15pm at McNearney Family Mortuary. Graveside Service following at 1:00pm at Rialto Park Cemetery.
