Diana Clinton Obituary

DIANA LYNNE (O'NEILL) CLINTON, 68, a resident of Rialto, CA, for 58 years, passed away on February 20, 2007, in Colton, CA. She was born i n Tucson, AZ, on May 5, 1938, to Frank and Grace O'Neill. She lived in Tucson and Los Angeles. She was an Educator for 39 years. She moved to San Bernardino, CA in 1948. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1955. Graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1958 (AA). Graduated from Long Beach State College with a BA in 1962. Graduated from University of Redlands with a MA in 1974. Began her teaching career in Oro Grande Elementary School in 1959 (1 year). Married William Clinton on April 9, 1960. Diana began teaching in the Rialto Unified School District in 1960. She taught at Kelley and Myers Elementary Schools and beginning in 1977 at Kolb Middle School. She retired in 2002. She taught Math and was the AVID Coordinator for the last 6 or 7 years. She was a member and served as president of the Rialto Education Assoc. in 1969. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and was a State Officer for 2 terms. She served the City of Rialto on the Finance Committee and on the Rialto Diamond Jubile e Committee. Diana belonged to the Rialto Kiwanis Club and served as president until she became ill. She also belongs to the California Retired Teacher's Association. She is a long time member of the Rialto United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bill Clinton of Rialto; son, Frank Clinton of Rialto; daughters, Kathleen Mack of San Bernardino and Beth Duncan of Calimesa. She also has 5 grandchildren. Visitation: Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, 4-8 P.M. at Mc Nearney Mortuary, 130 S. Willow Ave., Rialto, CA. Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, 10 A.M. at Rialto United Methodist Church, Baseline & Lilac, Rialto. Burial: Montecito Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers send donations to Kiwanis Club of Rialto, in c/o the Pediatric Trauma Prevention, 2111 Spruce, Rialto, CA 92377.
