James Diaz Obituary
James Diaz passed away to join his beloved mother in heaven. During the Vietnam War, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy administering Captain's orders aboard a U.S. Naval carrier. As a university undergrad, he tutored community college students. A long time worker at the U.S. Postal Service at San Bernardino Procesing & Distribution Center in Redlands, he was an esteemed employee who loved his job and the people there. In his personal life he helped raise all of his nieces and nephews. Truly selfless with a huge heart, he always gave more than he received. He was born to Phyllis & Manuel Diaz Sr.
James is survived by four siblings, and five nieces & nephews. The Wake is on June 17th, 4-8 P.M. at Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary on 3520 E. Washington St.,Colton. Requiem Mass is June 18th, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 10 A.M.:10816 Mt. View Ave., Loma Linda.

We had some good times in Bryn Mawr, running through the groves, going down to the Sankee where your brother said the Cucuy lived and where La Llarona roamed at night. You, Eddie, Manuel and Arthur were our sanctuary when times were rough. Fair winds and following seas shipmate. See you on the other side.

I'll always remember how much fun we all had playing together when we were kids - you and your siblings and I and my brothers and sisters (including assorted cousins). I'll remember your sense of humor - you always had us laughing. We were so full of mischief and had so many adventures, playing on the horse-drawn carriage, running through the groves, chasing each other and eating oranges. We'll miss you dearly, Cousin Jimmy.
