LILLIAN MRACEK Obituary

LILLIAN MRACEK 98, of Yucaipa, California, passed away in her home on November 11, 2010. She was born on June 7, 1912 in Hemmingsford, Nebraska, daughter of Czechoslovakian immigrants, John and Anna Rambousek. She married her husband, George Mracek, in 1930. Lillian worked in Nursing for the County of San Bernardino for 27 years. She was a senior member of the Yucaipa Seventh-Day Adventist church which she joined in 1946, and often served as a Sabbath School teacher prior to a debilitating accident in 1988. She is survived by her brother, John, of Yucca Valley; her son, Dean, of Temecula; daughter, Jean, of Yucaipa, and son, Jack, of Yucaipa. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1967, after 37 years of marriage; her son Glen in East Los Angeles in 1945; her son, Bernard, in Phoenix, AZ in 1990; and her son, Bob, in 1997 in Aurora, CO.; plus her sisters, Anna, Mary and Rose; as well as her parents. Lillian's favorite verse was John 3:16 and she loved many things including her Lord, her family, and friends. Services are scheduled for Sat. 11/20/10 at 2:00 P.M. at the Yucaipa Seventh-Day Adventist church.
