Lorene Waller

1932 - 2022

Lorene Waller 1/07/1932 - 11/06/2022 Born in Bluehole, Kentucky on January 7, 1932. Entered into Heaven on November 6, 2022. Lorene married Allen Waller on October 8, 1950. She is survived by her three children and their spouses Richard (and Cheryl) Waller of Yucaipa, CA, Karla (and Jeff) Cathcart of Elk Grove, CA, and Kevin (and Kim) Waller of Elk Grove, CA. She is also survived by three grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her two sisters Edna Mae Thomas of Angels Camp, Ca, and Georgia Craft (and Alton) of Bright, Indiana. Lorene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen, her brother Ray Brumley and her grandson, Brian Waller. Lorene was an active member of the Yucaipa Valley Presbyterian Church. She and her husband belonged to the Yucaipa Square Dance Club for many years. They were members of the Desert Bounders RV Club and enjoyed many cross country trips in their motorhome together. She worked many years for the Dr. Millers Optometry in Yucaipa. Lorene was a very talented lady with many gifts. She was an avid crafter. She enjoyed many hobbies that included sewing, crocheting, knitting, cake decorating, but her passion was always baking. She was known for her amazing cookie trays she made every year at Christmas for her family and friends. A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, January 7, 2023. There will be a private interment at Desert Lawn Mortuary on January 6, 2023.
