Mary Casmira O'Connor

1932 - 2023

Mary Casmira O'Connor, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, died on February 4, 2023. She was born on December 30, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Helen Blachura. She is survived by her children Beverley O'Connor, Joyce Robbins and husband Ron, Daniel O'Connor, and David O'Connor and wife Carolina. Her son Timothy and husband Jim preceded her in death. Mary also is survived by her grandchildren Nathan Robbins, Pam Schrank and her husband Ben, Sara O'Connor, Mariah Garrison and Mason and Meghan O'Connor. Mary has 3 great grandchildren, Madelyn, Samantha and Oliver Schrank. Mary and Jim were married in Chicago in 1958. Mary worked as a secretary, worked in Accounts Payable and also was a real estate agent in Arcadia. Mary was an active senior citizen who loved going to the Senior center to play Bingo and go on excursions to casinos with her friends. She made friends where ever she was and loved to get together with her friends. Mary never forgot a birthday or holiday for anyone in her family. Even though she suffered from many health issues, she never stopped wanting to travel and was always planning for her next adventure. She celebrated her 90th birthday in December. In the end, she wanted to be home. During her last days, she was surrounded by her family. She was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, 9135 Banyan St., Alta Loma, CA 91737.
