WALTER HAWKINS Obituary

WALTER B. HAWKINS Age 63, passed away on November 22, 2010. Mr. Hawkins was a long time resident of San Bernardino. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Hawkins; his daughter, Vicky and son in law, Scott Yarbrough. Preceded in death by his parents, and son, Stephen Hawkins. Walter worked at Kay Tee Products in Rialto sonce 1969, until God called him home. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Walter served two years in Germany during the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged from the Army in 1969. He became an excellent wood worker throughout the years, along with his friends at the wood club. He will be greatly missed by all, including his long time friend and companion "Coda". Visitation on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with Chapel Service on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at Colton Funeral Home in Colton, CA (909) 825-0570, followed by Interment at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery.

I have so many memories its so hard to name just one, but my fav are the hiking trip he is the first person who ever took me hiking vicky and I had a blast following him around all time. The trips to hysperia in the back of the truck in the snow fun times :)
