Amy J. Andruscavage, 58, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, Jan. 14, 2024, at Pleasant Meadows Rehabilitation in Plymouth Meeting.
Born Oct. 19, 1965, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Sr. and her surviving mother, Anne (Wychulis) Andruscavage.
Besides her father, Amy was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Andruscavage Jr., in 2020.
She is survived by her Mom, Anne Andruscavage, with her companion, Jake Komara, who was also her caregiver; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Stanitis; a nephew, Anthony Stanitis; a niece, Samantha Stanitis; great-nieces, Zoey and Scarlett Rutkowsky; and very good friends, Virginia, Bob and McKenzie Wuttke and David Drumblusky.
Amy was employed by Avenues in Shenandoah until the COVID pandemic.
She was a member of the former St. Stephen's Church in Shenandoah and the former St. Casimir's Church in Mahanoy City. Amy was also a charter member of the Shenandoah Historical Society.
She was a graduate of the Schuylkill IU 29, Mar Lin, Class of '87.
She was an avid Barbie collector and attended many Barbie conventions. Amy also enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino. She loved her cats and her dog, a pit bull, Stella.
