Anthony M. Naydock, 30, of York, formerly of Minersville, passed away suddenly Sunday at his residence.
Born in Pottsville, Sept. 2, 1981, he was a son of Margaret "Peggy" Norris Naydock, Delaware, Ohio.
A 2000 graduate of Minersville Area High School, Anthony was a former Marine Reservist.
He was a chef and currently employed at Jenkins Precision Grinding of York.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Norris.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Chloe Naydock, Pottsville.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, with the Rev. Mark Fesniak officiating. Friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in St. Kieran's No. 2 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Anthony's daughter, Chloe, and will be graciously accepted at the funeral home the morning of the service. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is in charge of arrangements.

I am devastated. Anthony and I went through boot camp together. Platoon 1004 and than Combat School and even MOS school. We hooked up via Facebook later on. Was hoping to invite him out to Colorado. So sorry for your loss. Anthony was a good guy. Lots of laughs. Semper Fidelis

Well Tony, you have been gone a month. I hope you like the solar light that I placed by your final resting place. I put it there for Chloe and you mom. I am glad I met her. I only wish it would have been under better circumstances. If I could turn back time, I would do it and things would be so much different. I would have been there for you to talk to if you needed someone. You could have talked to me any way but it is my fault for not letting you know that. I should have wrote to you and told you. I hope you are at peace and are not in any more pain. God is taking care of you now. As long as you are watching down on Chloe, I know she will be ok. I think of you often. RIP.... NAYDOCE RULES!! LOL.....I see that alot on your FB page!!!

The day you handed me my certificate at White Deer Run, you didn't just hand me a piece of paper, you gave me my life back. You were and are an incredible human being. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathies to Tonys family through this difficult time.Tony was always my shoulder when I needed one and my heart is broken over all of this. He was a great person,through and through,we all knew that.So many good memories were spent with Tony and we were all blessed to have known him. I am so sorry for your loss. Tony is an amazing person with a wonderful and full heart! He lived with me for a few months before he moved back home a few years ago. Tony is and will forever be my best friend and brother. I will miss that crazy laugh of his the funny comments he would make and I feel as tho I lost a peice of myself with him being gone. I love you bro. You will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss, Peggy. Anthony & my son Steve were friends. I remember Anthony as a very polite, quiet guy. Always enjoyed having him at our house. Anthony and your family are in my prayers.

Tony, you were and always will be a true friend. I believe that god puts people in our lives at a certain time, for a certain reason. At first, i did not know what the reason that he put you in my life. It took a little while to find the answer, and the answer was to show me another example of true friendship. I believe that you and i , helping young matt, was another reason god put you in my life. Thank you for just being you. You will be missed.

I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am! I remember years ago when we all used to play together and how wonderful of a person Anthony was. Tony, its comforting to know when someone no longer has to suffer... but for the rest of us still living, our journey of mourning has just begun. And sometimes its hard to believe if it will ever end. My heart goes out to your family. Esp your mother, because i myself lost my son a month ago. My son in the NIC unit is named Anthony, and now i think of you whenever i hear and say his name. i dont think the initial shock has worn off yet. its still so unreal. Tony was such a great guy! I will miss him dearly. Although I have not seen him in very long time he will always be in my heart. We had some great times together in our younger years. I will never forget him! My condolences go out to the family especially his little girl Chloe. I pray the family can find peace in this time of sorrw knowing he was loved by many and will never be forgotten!

I feel like this is all a bad dream. It is hard to face reality that Tony is gone. We split quit some time ago but still kept in touch. We would talk about Chloe and sometimes other stuff. I try not to get upset in front of Chloe but I look at her and I see Tony and I just fall apart. I will never understand why this had to happen. Chloe is alot like Tony and his spirit will live on through her. He will be forever loved and missed.

Tony, although I have not seen you in a very long time, it is so sad to know that you are gone. Chloe will not be able to see you or talk to you. I made her a little photo album of you. She can keep that close to her heart as she grows up. I know that you are watching over her. As her grand mother, I will also make sure to help her with whatever questions she may have about you. She is young and as she grows, I know there will be questions. If not for you, I would not have her. Thank You for that.
