David Naydock Obituary

David W. Naydock, 52, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.
Born in Pottsville, May 29, 1960, he was a son of Michael Naydock, Pottsville, and the late June Clark Naydock.
He was a graduate of Franklin Regional High School.
Dave was self-employed as an artist, specializing in painting murals. He was a featured artist at the Walk-In Art Center, Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Michael Naydock.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his teammate and companion of 12 years, Lorraine Koury. Dave is also survived by his twin brother, Michael J. Naydock, Hazleton; and a sister, Lisa Bernruether and her husband, William, Kempner, Texas; a niece, Tiffany Kokitus, Littleton, Colo.; the Koury family; and his cat, Mr. Cuddles Magnificat.
A time to celebrate Dave's life will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Walk-In Art Center, please enter at 220 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven, and take the elevator to the third floor of the building. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday the funeral home. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to Walk-In Art Center, 110 W. Columbia St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. To extend condolences to the family online, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com. Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, has been entrusted with the arrangements, with cremation services provided by Riverside Cremation Services, LLC, Schuylkill Haven.

Mr. Naydock, Lisa nd Michael, I was saddened to hear about David's passing. I know this is quite late, but my Dad just sent me the program from his memorial service in a card today. I used to live next door, and remember hanging out in your basement after school with Lisa, Michael and Dave watching Dark Shadows on TV. Dave was always drawing something even back then. Dave you were not just my cousin but also my friend. Although distance was between us when I would come back to Pottsville I was always made to feel I was home.
To the Naydock family, I know this hard for you losing Chris, then Aunt June, and now Dave and Alicia and I want you to know that our love and prayers are with you.
Lorraine we know how much you ment to Dave and we want you to know that your friendship means the world to us. Our love and respect goes out to you and your family.

Dave's greatest attributes were not his talents as an artist, but his attitude and great nature as a person. He was always positive, thoughtful, knowledgable and an overall fantastic spirit. The Koury family will always cherish Dave. Our condolences to the Naydock Family and of course Lorraine.
