Brian P. Raess, 55, of Reading, formerly of Pottsville, died Friday.
Born in Pottsville, April 9, 1958, he was a son of the late John H. and Helen (nee Motley) Raess.
He was last employed as a welder for Dormae Industries, Reading.
He is survived by a brother, John Raess, husband of MaryAnn, Pottsville; a sister, Karen Matz, wife of Tony, Port Carbon; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Sixth and West Market streets, Pottsville, has charge. Condolences an be left online at www.bestlifetributes.com.
