Christopher D. Reifsnyder

1969 - 2022

Christopher D. "Jeep" Reifsnyder, 53, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, at his residence.

Born Aug. 6, 1969, in Pottsville, he was a son of Judith A. (Hughes) Reifsnyder, of Schuylkill Haven, and the late Edward W. Reifsnyder Jr.

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.

After graduating from Schuylkill Haven High School, Christopher was the owner of Summit View Restaurant.

In addition to his father, Christopher was also preceded in death by an uncle, Raymond Reifsnyder.

Christopher is survived by two children, Elaina and Connor Reifsnyder, both at home; a brother, Michael, husband of Denise Reifsnyder, of Schuylkill Haven; a sister, Jennifer Koch, of Orwigsburg; nephews, Dillion Koch, Brady Koch and Parker Reifsnyder; a niece, Zoie Reifsnyder; and an uncle, Jimmy Joe Reifsnyder. He is also survived by his aunt and Phillies partner, Donna Potts.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the Cressona Cemetery.
