Crystal Camodeca Obituary

Crystal A. Camodeca, 54, of 803 N. 16th St., Pottsville, passed away Sunday at her residence.
Born in Pottsville, August 29, 1958, she was a daughter of Douglas and Gail Reed Camodeca.
Crystal was a 1976 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. She was a licensed practical nurse at Hamburg State Hospital, Hamburg.
She was active in the First Baptist Church, Pottsville, the Community Church of the Pavilion of Auburn, and the AARP Group of the Lighthouse Church, Orwigsburg.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher and Erick Camodeca, and his fiance, Lindsay Fitzpatrick, Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Margaret Burns and her husband, Robert, Pottsville; a brother, Douglas Camodeca and his wife, Patti, Pottsville; nieces and nephews, Bobby and Valerie Burns, Douglas and Tiffany Camodeca.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church, 701 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901 or the Romans 12 Camp, Auburn. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be sent to www.brucethartfuneralhome.com.

Mr & Mrs Camodeca, Peg, Douglas, Erik and Christopher, i would like to offer all of you my sympathy. Crystal was such a wonderful person inside and out. She was such a joy to everyone in my family. We always had a great time when we were together and she was a wonderful addition to our AARP group. I will miss her so much. Crystal thank you so much for "adopting" us as your vacation home. Miss you Sparkly Lady :)

There aren't words to express all my thoughts when hearing of my Li'l Crissy's passing. We all loved her so much and she loved us all back. Unfortunately, God's plan cannot be determined by us. May God's Angel be with you all in your hearts and memories. Gail, Doug, Peggy Lou, Dougie, and of course Erik and Christopher, you all will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Crystal was a great woman, cat lover and friend. Many times in my life she brightened up my day with just a greeting card in the mail (she always sent the best decorated cards) or a simple email. It's very saddening to hear this has happened. I'm sending the entire family hugs and good thoughts.
