Elizabeth Razzis Obituary

Elizabeth I. "Betty" Reese Razzis, 84, of Ashland, died peacefully Friday morning at home with her family at her side.
Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Gurney "Gike" and Lillian Kroh Buhl.
She was a member of Frackville American Legion Post 398 Auxiliary, Ranger Hose Company, Girardville, and was on the election bureau in Butler Township for several years.
Betty will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by her family, who will deeply miss her.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack A. Reese and Albert W. Razzis; brother, Charles Buhl; and sister, Ruth Deeter.
Betty is survived by her four sons, Robert Reese and his wife, Lorraine, Kevin Reese, Albert Razzis and his wife, Patti, and David Razzis and his wife, Tammy, all of Ashland; grandchildren, Tammi Norwich, John Reese, Shannon Madden, Miranda Razzis, Cassandra Razzis, Gianna Reese and Rebecca Razzis; great-grandchildren, Donovan Norwich, Gavin Madden and Maggie Madden; brothers, Edward and Rick Buhl; sisters, Marie Cress, Carol Britton, Shirley Buhl and Charlotte Todd; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville, with the Rev. Rose Marquardt officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Friends may call from 8 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Betty's name be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, 2 Penn Plaza, Suite 1102, New York, NY 10121.
