Edward Razzis Obituary

Edward Peter Razzis, Sr., 72, of Coplay, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Nancy K. (Schaeffer) Razzis to whom he was married 49 years. Born in Ashland, Schuylkill County, October 7, 1949, Edward was the son of the late Edward F. and Verna H. (Romonusky) Razzis. He was the Founder and Owner/President of East Penn Rebuilders, Inc. in Allentown, which he established in 1985 and continued to run in great success until his passing. Alongside an immeasurable work ethic, Ed enjoyed many hobbies. He was an avid sportsman holding membership in several local sportsman's clubs. Besides hunting with his son, Ted, his favorite companion was his bird dog, Fannie. As a member of the Beach Haven Park Yacht Club, he enjoyed many summers on the New Jersey shore fishing the canyons with friends and family. He also had a passion for classic cars and his love of Corvettes was evident as he proudly showed them at local car shows. More than anything else, Ed's biggest love was his family. Weekends were reserved for cookouts with his family and Saturday night dinners with his wife. His spare time was spent as a proud spectator at the countless activities of his six grandchildren. He was also an upstanding member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Nancy; son, Edward P. "Ted" Razzis, Jr. (Jane) of Coplay; daughter, Kristy L. Leuthe (Mark) of Allentown; grandchildren, Malerie, Matthew, Olivia, Ava, Michael, Lia; sister, Elizabeth Eisenhower (Douglas) of Florida.

Service: A memorial service will be held 11:00 am. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating. My heart grieves with you, but we know he is at peace and out of pain. May the many memories of a long life together bring you comfort. And know that he was a force for good and kindness throughout his life. Gone but never forgotten, he lives on in many hearts and the beauty of your family that you both created. Hugs.
