Evelyn was as special as written in her obituary and even more. She was sweet, jolly, and always smiling. I always loved spending time with her and Rita.
Rest in peace, sweet lady.

I attended St. John's for only 1st-3rd grades. I have vivid memories of Miss Lescavage, as well as Miss Thomashitis, to this day. They were wonderful roll models of strong, independent, Christian women at a time when women roll models were somewhat lacking in the late '60's.
Imagine the numbers of other children whose lives she influenced! What a legacy to leave. I only regret I didn't know her as an adult. Her family and friends are truly blessed to have had her in their lives.
God bless you all, for I know with certainty that "Miss Lescavage" is sitting in the palm of God's hand right now,....and smiling.

My condolences to Rita, Ronald and all of Evelyn's family and friends. Evelyn was a classmate at IHHS and we called each other cousin so her inclusive nature was evident even in high school treating others as her family. We are saddened by her passing. May the LORD bless her and keep her safe in the Palm of His Hand.

Rita, and Evelyn's Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of a very special lady. We only met Evelyn once at the house but, Rita would tell stories about their adventures. May all your wonderful memories help you all through the days to come.
Sincerely,
Kathy, Melinda and Alison Lashinsky
