George Botek Obituary
George Robert "Bob" Botek, of Branch Township, passed away on Tuesday at St. Luke's University Hospital, Allentown Campus.
The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Tuesday, January 2, from 8 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Branch Township. Visit www.dutcavich.com.

I went to St. Francis with George. (The nuns would never call him Bobby.) That was a long time ago. I remember walking to Schaeffer's Hill with my brother to play with him and his brothers. What I remember most about him is that he was a great basketball player. He wasn't tall, but he sure could handle the ball. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP.
