Geraldine (Geri) M. Ebert, 65, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning, June 25, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born Nov. 27, 1958, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Benjamin and the late Catherine Frantz (Drye).
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by husband, Harry; a son, Jason; and a nephew, Joshua Frantz.
Geri was a 1977 graduate of Saint Clair High School and also attended Schuylkill Vo-Tech for textiles. Geri worked in the textile field for several years and volunteered at Pottsville Lions Ambulance.
Geri went on obtaining her CNA, where she worked for several nursing facilities then going into home health. She then started working for the Pottsville Hospital as an orderly. Geri finished her career in the Sterile Processing Department. Geri then worked for the Pottsville School District and then Weis Markets until her illness.
Geri was a huge Elvis enthusiast, and her passions were hunting, bowling and attending various sporting events, especially ones her children and grandchildren were participating in.
Geri is survived by son, Jeremy Ebert and wife, Julie; daughter, Jacquline, wife of Albert Miles; grandchildren, Jordan, Jocelyn, Tyler, Jaden, Sebastian and Jevin; three great-grandchildren, Jaimen, Aspyn and Luciella.; brothers, Jesse, Michael, Dale and Loren.
Celebrations of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home, New Philadelphia. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday. Family requests donations be made to South Cass Community Fund, Christmas Stroll at Cass, 14 Water Lane, Pottsville PA 17901.
