H. Moffette Tharpe Jr., 82, of Summit Station, passed away March 31, 2022, at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, at First United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven. Additional services will be held in Virginia, with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, Va., and funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Midland Church of the Brethren, Midland, Va. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to First United Methodist Church, 420 Saylor St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Online condolences may be made at www.moserfuneralhome.com.
