Jeanette Morgan Obituary

Jeanette J. Morgan, 87, of Llewellyn, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning.

Born on Aug. 14, 1937, in Pottsville.

She was the daughter late Roy and Mary Bramley.

Jeanette attended Pottsville School District. She went on to serve as a nurse's aid at York Terrace Nursing Home. Jeanette later worked as a matron at the Schuylkill County Women's prison.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Pottsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all seven of her siblings. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who passed away in 2016, and their son, Michael, who passed away last year.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Janet Dunleavy, of Llewellyn and Joseph Morgan, of Frackville. She is also survived by her grandchildren; James H. Dunleavy, of Florida, James J. Dunleavy, of Kernsville, N.C., Marissa Morgan, of Snowshoe, Pa., Matthew Morgan, of Arizona, Shelby Miller, of Orwigsburg, Toni Berzowski, of Pottsville, and Allyssa Stripling, of Friedensburg, along with Alexis Southam, who was a special granddaughter. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park. Grabowski Funeral Home is entrusted with services. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com.
