Joanne T. Jachimczyk, a lifelong resident of Shenandoah, passed away Monday at Shenandoah Senior Living Center.
Born in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Tillie Severn Kiselewski.
Joanne attended the former J.W. Cooper High School.
She is a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah.
Joanne last worked for Diakon Community Services for Seniors, Pottsville, and previously worked at Pasky's, Shenandoah.
She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed all the local festivals.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Henry Jachimczyk Sr., in 1995, and two brothers, Francis and Edward Rawley.
Joanne is survived by her son, Henry C. Jachimczyk Jr., Shenandoah; a daughter; a brother, Ronald C. Kiselewski, Shenandoah; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Shenandoah. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. Private interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Contributions can be made in memory of Joanne to the Father Ciszek Chapel, 108 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah, PA 17976. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
