John Marcavage Obituary

John J. Marcavage, 62, of Pottsville, died Monday, May 1, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born July 29, 1960, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Wildermuth) Marcavage.

John was a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in chemical engineering and worked at Naval Sea Command in Maryland before retiring.

Surviving are his sister, Rachel Raczka and her fiancé, Kenneth Mills, of Saint Clair; two nephews; a niece; and one cousin.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Bethesda Reedsville EC Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be sent to www.brucethartfuneralhome.com.
