John Mayernick Obituary

John C. Mayernick Sr., 82, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Wednesday.

He was born in Tremont, July 25, 1935, to John Frank and Grace Helen Gicker Mayernick.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joan Witmer.

John is survived by his wife, Diane Mayernick; daughters, Carla Sue Halpine (Ronnie), Alexander, Ark., Tonya Jill Smith (Sean), Scottsdale, Ariz., and Amber Annette Ponder (Ken), Maumelle, Ark.; sons, John Charles Mayernick Jr. and Cloys Blake Mayernick, both of Little Rock; grandchildren, Mallorie Kirkham, Lauren Wise, Olivia Carlile, Brandon Mayernick, Natalie Mayernick, Liam Smith, Dalton Ponder, Kaleb Mayernick, and Charles Ponder; great-grandchildren, Jordan Haley, Caylee Kirkham, Isabella Carlile, Elijah Carlile, Bastien Mayernick and Logan Wise; sisters, Dolores Barton, Pottsville, and Barbara Mayernick, Tremont; a brother, Robert Mayernick (Pearl), Tremont.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 501-224-8300. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
