Joshua Zeiler Obituary

Joshua M. Zeiler, 25, of Palmyra, died Nov. 24 in Port Saint Lucie, Fla., where he had just recently moved.
Born in Hershey, July 5, 1983, he was a son of Michael A. Zeiler and the late Nancy J. Bevan Zeiler.
He graduated from Palmyra High School in 2001, where he played football and other sports. After high school, he attended Penn State University and Harrisburg Area Community College.
He was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra.
He was last employed at Sam Snead's, Port St. Lucia.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his mother, are his maternal grandparents, Leo and Claire Bevan Krammes, formerly of Schuylkill Haven.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his companion, Jessica Buck, Palmyra; brothers, Dillon Zeiler, a student at the University of Pittsburgh, and Cody Zeiler, a senior at Palmyra High School; grandparents, Mike Zeiler, Schuylkill Haven, and Phyllis Kline, Pottsville; aunts and uncles, Dave and Kathy Bevan Kahl and Terry and Beverly Bevan Luckenbill, Lake Wynonah; cousins, Kevin and Brian Kahl, Jeff, Andrew and Marianne Schaeffer and Jennifer Schaeffer Kiehn; and his faithful dog, Jackson.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, 25 Lindbergh Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 or American Lung Association, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Buse Funeral Home, Palmyra, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be shared at BuseFuneralHome.com.

Mike,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Josh from back when he was in school and I was living next to your family. He was always a good kid and I'm sure he grew into a wonderful young man. Though I haven't seen you in many years you are often in my thoughts. I think of you and pray for you now more than ever. Josh is in a good place.

To the family of Josh Zeiler. We are so sorry for your loss. We just found out today that your son passed away. Mike, no man should have to endure what you have been thru in your lifetime losing both a wife and son at a very young age. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Josh i miss u already man. It is so surreal right now to me that you're gone. You were the funniest person I've ever known, and you will continue to make me laugh through the memories I have of us goofing off. From Youth Group to High School to late nights at the track. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Say Hi to your mom for me.

Josh - you were my very first crush over 9 years ago. I had so many great memories with you during our high school years and after, I still can't believe you're gone. I can't even express how heartbroken I am that your life was cut so short. I only feel a little better knowing how happy your mom will be to reunite with you once again.

It is always a shock as a teacher, to hear of one of your student's death. Josh was a good young man in Middle School with a sense of humor that was low keyed but witty. My deepest sympathy to you, the family.... I cannot imagine what you are going through but know that many appreciated Josh and his part in our lives. I will keep you in my prayers.
