Karen Updegrave Obituary
Karen L. "Kay" Updegrave, 77, of Williamstown, passed away suddenly early Monday morning, May 9, 2022, at UPMC-Harrisburg.
Born in Lykens, Oct. 29, 1944, Kay was a daughter of the late Eli and Phyllis Uhler Gething. She was a 1962 graduate of the former Williamstown High School.
She was a retired secretary from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Kay took great pride in the appearance of her home and her yard. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Updegrave, 2011, and a sister, Joanne Adams, 1991.
Surviving are her daughter, Trisha A. Updegrave, Williamstown; a grandson, Michael T. Updegrave, Williamstown; and one brother, Gary Gething and his wife, Donna, California.
Following Kay's wishes there will be no services. Donations in her memory can be made to the Williamstown EMS, P.O. Box 74, Williamstown, PA 17098.
