Margaret (Peggy) M. Blickley 73, of Brockton passed away Sept. 8, 2024 at Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab, Hometown. Born Nov. 6, 1950 in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Eckrode) Sabol. She was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, Class of 1968 and member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, New Philadelphia. She was last employed at Weis Markets.
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by brother, John Sabol Jr. and son-in-law, Jason Fritzinger.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years Joseph Blickley, Brockton, children, Shawn Blickley and wife, Roslyn, Spring City, Tonya Fritzinger, Brockton, Daniel Blickley and wife, Lisa, Midlothian, Va., Thomas Blickley and wife, Samantha, Downingtown, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Peggy loved bowling, sewing, cruising and playing UNO and spending her time with her beloved family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia, with the Rev. Monsignor William F. Glosser as celebrant.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 10 am until time of service. Interment in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Brockton. Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Margaret to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
